WHAT I HELP WITH

Helping organisations and creative teams make complex things clearer

I work with organisations and creative teams on challenges where there is a lot to understand, often involving complex science, new technologies or audiences who need clarity. Much of my experience has been built in healthcare and life sciences, but the way I work travels. I get close to the challenge, bring creative thinking into the process early and help teams turn what they know into ideas and communication people can trust and use.

Organisations often have deep expertise in what they do. The creative challenge is making that expertise meaningful and accessible to the people they need to reach. That might lead to a brand, a campaign, a story, a patient or HCP communication, a presentation, a digital experience or a better way for the team itself to work.

Creative leadership

Helping teams shape stronger ideas and carry the thinking through into the finished work. That can mean leading a pitch or campaign directly, recognising and backing the idea worth pursuing when the pressure is on, or giving a team the direction and confidence to push a concept further than the safe version.

Complex communication

Turning complicated information, whether that's clinical science, new technology or a regulated process, into communication that people can understand, trust and use. That might be a patient or HCP communication, a scientific story built for investors, or a brand explaining something genuinely difficult to make simple.

Creative capability and
ways of working

Helping organisations improve how creative teams work together: clearer briefs, stronger review standards and better collaboration between writing and design. This also includes looking at where AI can genuinely help the process, without weakening human judgement or craft.

Thinking grounded
in making

I have always been hands-on. Years spent designing, developing concepts, building brands and working through the realities of production have given me a practical filter for creative leadership. I know what it takes to turn an idea into something real. That helps me judge what is ambitious but achievable, where a team may need more support, when an idea is being compromised by the process and where a new tool or way of working could genuinely make the team more capable.

I still stay close to the tools and emerging creative technologies. Understanding how the work can be made helps me lead it better.
